Part of what we believe as a study abroad company is that the world is a global community. We’re all humans; we’re all connected. It makes sense, then, that we also believe in giving back to children, families, and communities the world over. That’s why we joined the Causes Initiative—a very popular and successful web platform for supporting charities. For each application made to LCA, we’ll give the applicant an option of donating $20 to the cause of his or her choice. Just browse the official Causes website to see the possibilities.

Causes help to organize people in activism and philanthropy. They aim to give causes and nonprofits a simple, grassroots beginning. Each cause has its own webpage, where cause members can recruit friends for their cause, donate, or fundraise. The site also promotes education for charities via videos, photos, and other articles. Overall, it’s just a solid place to connect.

As you fill out your LCA application, you’ll be asked to fill in a field with the information of the charity you want to support. If you’re unsure at the time, you can always log back in and complete this part later.
