LCA will receive your official transcript directly from your host university once you’ve completed your classes abroad (including exams). Usually, the host university takes around 3 months to send your transcript to us (or they directly send it to your home institution). We will send the official copy to your school and an unofficial copy to you at the home address you’ve confirmed. Most home universities are accustomed to waiting period, but we suggest that you talk with your professors abroad about your final grade before returning home.

If you decide that you would not like your transcript sent to your university, be sure to fill out a transcript release form and let us know. Keep in mind that for course transfer purposes, universities usually require your transcript to be sent from the study abroad provider or the institution abroad.
